THE CHALLENGE
888.com Holdings operates over 80 online gaming applications. With over 52 weekly application deployments and updates, 888.com's operation teams need to "push" these across multiple development teams along with their QA, staging and data center production environments. Faced with 260% growth in the annual volume of change requests, 888.com needed a way to coordinate and streamline application service tasks, including major releases, bug-fixes and routine maintenance operations, across 800 + servers with the key goal of improving application release quality and uptime, while eliminating operational bottlenecks that cause delays in time-to-release of their customer facing revenue generating applications.
THE SOLUTION
888.com introduced Nolio ASAP in three phases during 2009, to meet their target IT operation goals, starting in on processes with the highest error rate and cost, in terms of time and labor, to educating all team members to work with Nolio ASAP automation for all financial system deployments, front-end server roll-outs and updates, central processing application upgrades, and many, many more.
